(First year project)

This project was a collaboration between the Schiaparelli fashion label with surfing. I chose to concentrate on Mason Schiaparelli’s ‘Haute couture fall-winter 2022-23 collection’ based on hand-painted flowers along with Elsa Schiaparelli’s ‘shocking pink’. I then combined this with performance surf-wear focusing on locations within the southern hemisphere. The aim of this project was to play with colour, pattern development and creating a garment that would make female surfers feel bold and confident (similar to the ethos behind Schiaparelli).
